Hot out of our lab is our EnformaTech Office suite of solutions. Built as a next-generation Rich Internet Application (RIA), delivered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), this browser-based framework addresses critical business needs with the responsiveness and functionality you expect from heavy-duty Line-of-Business (LOB) applications, without the consultants, the IT footprint, or price tag of bloated solutions.
The age of large, legacy office and productivity software is coming to a close, as overpriced and under featured bloatware, which once gave great benefits to sedentary office workers, does not translate well for agile and traveling users who demand more functionality with lower-powered devices, such as notebooks and mobile phones. Dynamic sales staff in the field cannot afford to wait ten minutes to open Outlook to read three e-mails, and mobile versions of office software fail to integrate well with critical LOB applications.
We're Changing the Game
The days of slow, convoluted office suites which require gigabytes of space to do the most menial tasks is over, and browser-based productivity using rich internet applications (RIA) is ready for the spotlight. Users want consistent user experiences, with settings, customizations, and program preferences following them where ever they go. Complex synchronization frameworks that move bulky data package to and from a multitude of devices are set to be replaced by completely online-based solutions that keep all data, all programs, and all settings accessible from anywhere, anytime.
Our Microsoft Silverlight-based framework is a productivity shell that hosts several pre made solutions that are customizable to any industry, workflow, and need. For starters, our basic free edition includes unlimited usage and uninhibited functionality of the following LOB applications:
- Customer Relationship Management: With the power and flexibility of popular packages like Dynamics CRM, PeopleSoft, and ACT! -- without the hassle or exorbitant access, per-seat, or maintenance fees.
- Document management and document workflow. with integrated notifications, pooled-user queues, and online publication.
We intend to expand our offerings in the coming months with additional included services and LOB applications, as well as foster the development of a collaborative independent software vendor (ISV) community which can embrace and extend the powerful EnformaTech Office platform with their own included or premium offerings.
